The dial is 12 inches (30 cm) painted with Roman numerals & blued steel hands. Scribers were two brothers from Geneva who were operating in Dublin from at least 1846 (Slaters Directory).’
The movement is a typical turn of the century replacement which appears to be recorded on the back of the dial (face) by Dalys clock repairers of Cappaquin Co Waterford. I ve been assured that this was the kitchen clock at Lismore Castle for a period but I have not been able to substantiate this.
